Computerized Accounting and Bookkeeping Career Program

The Computerized Accounting and Bookkeeping Career Program fosters technical knowledge and skills at the introductory and intermediate levels of accounting, preparing students for support roles in business accounting settings and financial services industries. Students will obtain a broad understanding and appreciation for additional concepts related to accounting, including finance, common computer applications, communications, and business law.

Trained personnel who can apply their computer skills to accomplish essential business tasks are in high demand as accounting clerks, bookkeepers, data processing clerks, and payroll clerks. Graduates are qualified to address the bookkeeping responsibilities in most companies, and may secure jobs in industries such as banking, insurance, and real estate.
