A Place for English and Japanese Learners

Posted by Justin on 15 August 2011 | 0 Comments

Have you been looking for a place where language learners can commune in an opportunity to learn together? Look no more! ABCLoop is just that place. The website acts as a community where learners of English and Japanese can come together to talk and practice their skills. The concept is genuine in its efforts. The real positive of ABCLoop is the integration between learners.

ABCLoop WebstiteNo matter what the level, the site combines both English learners and Japanese learners into a dynamic discussion. So, if you are learning English, you can discuss with someone learning Japanese (assuming you are both of the latter). As you discuss, ABCLoop translates for the other to read. The discussion then becomes an opportunity for both learners to teach the other grammar, phonetic spelling, and even syntax. Learning both English and Japanese is difficult, and often expensive, but giving students the chance to integrate their learning with an interactive space increases the chances of the foreign language sticking.

As opposed to simply monitoring and correcting homework assignments, ABCLoop focuses on encouraging students to practice their new language. Japanese students will gain exposure to the English language, and vice versa. Ideally, this will open a bridge of relations to continue to become life long learners of different languages. As with other studies, language isn't simply a class to study for good marks, it is a community engaged in progress and success.
