Approvals & Accreditation

SOLEX College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award occupational associate's degrees and certificates. ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

SOLEX holds a Certificate of Approval to Operate certificate programs and stand-alone courses granted by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

The operational and degree granting authority for the SOLEX College Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Accounting degree program is granted by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE).

The College is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.

• Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)
• National Health Career Association (NHA)
